We dedicate the day to move to the Tuscany region. We take advantage of some of the rest stops to see the Fort de Salses and the main attractions of Nimes.

Day 2: Pisa

Pisa

We spend the second day visiting the city of Pisa. In the Piazza dei Miracoli we see the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Duomo (Cathedral), the Baptistery and the Campo Santo. We also go to the Piazza dei Cavalieri.

Day 3: Lucca

Lucca

In Lucca we stroll through the walled city. Highlights include the gardens of Palazzo Pfanner, the Piazza dell'Anfiteatro, San Michele in Foro, the Duomo di San Martino, the Guinigi Tower and the Torre delle Ore.

Day 4: Cinque Terre

Cinque Terre

Although not part of Tuscany, we travelled to visit Cinque Terre, five fishing villages with colourful houses set amidst steep terraces. As access by road is difficult, it is best to visit them by train or boat.

Day 5: Florence

Florence

The first of two days of sightseeing in Florence. We start the route from Piazzale Michelangelo, to see the views of the city, to continue with the Ponte Vecchio, the Piazza della Signoria or the Accademia Gallery.

Day 6: San Gimignano

San Gimignano

We drive to our new accommodation in Siena. We take the opportunity to visit the walled town of Volterra and the small medieval town of San Gimignano, known for its well-preserved towers.

Day 7: Siena

Siena

We enjoyed Siena, known for its medieval architecture, narrow streets, and stunning central square, Piazza del Campo, which hosts the famous Palio horse race. To highlight his cathedral, with black and white marble stripes.

Day 8: Florence (2))

Florence

On our second day in Florence we focused on the Duomo, visiting also the Baptistery of St. John and climbing the Campanile di Giotto. On the way back to Siena we stopped for a photo stop in Monteriggioni.

Day 9: Cavallino Matto

Cavallino Matto

We dedicate one day of the trip to the Cavallino Matto amusement park. Despite being a small park, it offers a wide range of thrilling attractions, including roller coasters, live shows and various water rides.

Day 10: Portofino

Portofino

We started our return journey, but not before making a stop in Portofino, a picturesque fishing village with pastel-coloured houses, narrow cobbled streets and a harbour full of luxury yachts.

Monaco

On the last day of our trip, we took a quick tour of the most emblematic places in the Principality of Monaco: the Casino Square, the Loews Hairpin, part of the F1 Street Circuit, the Prince's Palace and the Cathedral.
